On November 29 ABB will recognize the best practices in Digitization in the fourth edition of the ABB Ability ™ Digital Awards.
• The event, organized together with the Sustainability Excellence Club, will take place in person at La Casa Encendida in Madrid and will be broadcast via streaming
• The awards ceremony will be attended by Carme Artigas, Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, Raül Blanco, Secretary General for Industry and SMEs, and a motivational talk by the speaker Emilio Duró
• One more year, His Majesty the Kings of Spain will preside over the Committee of Honor
On Monday, November 29 at 6:00 p.m. the awards ceremony of the IV Edition of the ABB Ability TM Digital Awards will take place at the Casa Encendida in Madrid, in which the best practices in digitization will be awarded. These awards are grouped into 4 different categories; Large Companies, SMEs and entrepreneurs / start-ups, Public Administration and Digital Talent and since its first edition they have already received more than 200 applications.
The awards, launched in 2018 by ABB, a world leading company in electrical engineering and automation, and the Club of Excellence in Sustainability, a business association that works for sustainable growth; They are committed to making visible and recognizing projects based on the digital transformation of processes or management systems as well as those that promote talent in digital skills to train people towards the new labor paradigm marked by digitization.
All this with the aim of putting in value all those initiatives that, thanks to the application of technology, have been able to improve the efficiency, competitiveness and sustainability of companies or workplaces in our country. In addition, this edition will be attended by Carme Artigas, Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, Raül Blanco, Secretary General for Industry and SMEs and the speaker Emilio Duró, businessman, consultant and expert trainer in the business sector.
Also, one more year, with the Presidency of the Committee of Honor by the King and Queen of Spain. The jury, made up of experts at institutional, academic and business levels and representatives of ABB and the Club of Excellence in Sustainability, is in charge of evaluating and choosing the winners of each category, based on different criteria such as social and economic impact. and environmental, as well as the originality, the innovative character or the scope of the project, among others.
This celebration represents the return to the 100% face-to-face format, with all the necessary security measures to guarantee the protection of both participants and attendees.
